A Bit About Me
As a consultant and educator, Egla is passionate about fostering community engagement, and promoting diversity. For over a decade, she has dedicated myself to empowering organizations and communities through education, cultural humility, and inclusive practices. Her experience in community outreach and cultural integration includes developing culturally appropriate educational materials, coordinating community events, and creating multilingual resources that maintain educational integrity and sensitivity. Additionally, Egla has helped organizations enhance their online presence by collaborating with web designers from the early stages to build culturally appropriate websites from the ground up and by advising on effective social media strategies.
These roles have equipped her with the skills to create culturally relevant and accessible programs, build inclusive cultures, and foster meaningful engagement with diverse communities. Throughout her career, Egla has held various leadership roles that have refined my ability to lead diverse teams, develop strategic initiatives, and implement programs that address the unique needs of different communities. Her work is consistently underpinned by principles of radical empathy and inclusivity, reflecting my belief in the transformative power of education to build stronger, healthier communities. At Engage10, Egla leverages these skills to help organizations create environments where everyone feels valued and engaged, guiding them to become integral and impactful members of their communities. She is passionate about fostering trust, understanding, and mutual support to create lasting, positive change.
